Furniture design is a special area within product design. It includes the design of a wide variety of furnishings for both private and public areas. With curiosity, technical understanding and a wealth of ideas, target group-oriented furniture for series produc-tion or small series is created.
Seating furniture in particular requires a high level of experience, as functionality, durability and ergonomics are important factors influencing design. The develop-ment process is typically accompanied at an early stage by design and functional models to check and optimize the requirements.
